Bio

Matthew Scott Hill is a young actor living his dream and working at his passion everyday. Born in a small town in a small state, acting wasn’t the most popular and easily accessible career, but that couldn’t keep Matthew away from finding it as he did. After working different jobs it became very clear that without acting Matthew wasn’t fulfilled with what he was doing. He did theater as a kid and enjoyed it so much that the “Acting Bug” never went away. With that said, after being a heating technician for an oil company the day finally came where he decided to pack up his things and move to Los Angeles, CA where he would further pursue the only career for him. After selling his prized possessions the then 18 year old made the move to California where he enrolled in acting classes.

Soon after completing his training there he started auditioning and soon got his SAG card. Now working harder than ever he looks forward to a lasting career. He was always kind of living a double life seeing as his true passion is performing even though he would go dirt bike riding and four wheeling in the middle of nowhere with his hometown friends every week. “It’s funny how things work out” he says and also lives by this quote, “Follow your dreams, because you only live once.”

When not acting, Matthew enjoys the simple things in life such as going to the beach to do some body surfing or catching a movie with his friends. He was always the athletic type and participated in numerous sports and activities throughout his childhood such as skateboarding and snowboarding. It was a very big move from his hometown of New Hartford, CT where the rest of his family and friends reside but he knew he had to do it.

He couldn’t thank his parents and his two sisters as well as his friends enough for all the support they give him. Matthew plans on being an actor for the rest of his life because the excitement and feeling of performing, he just can’t give up.
